MULTI CHANNEL PIPETTES

At present we sub-contract the calibration of all multi channel pipettes to our partners Biomedis and Brand in Germany who are both accredited to ISO 17025. Accordingly there is a minimum turnaround time of 10 days, however we intend calibrating these in house in mid 2007.

PIPETTE CALIBRATION

The calibration of pipettes means determining the difference between the dispensed volume and the selected or nominal volume.

Calibration Technology Ltd. has a dedicated environmentally controlled laboratory for the calibration of pipettes where temperature, humidity and barometric pressure are monitored. The calibration procedure is as outlined in ISO 8655, but we can also calibrate to the customers specific requirements or to the pipette manufacturer’s specification.

We can provide various turnaround times for calibration based on a customers requirements. These are :
